VERTICAL BLINDS

Simple and Contemporary

Vertical blinds are a type of window covering consisting of vertical slats that can be tilted or drawn to control light and privacy. Here are some key features and considerations of vertical blinds:

  • Material: Vertical blinds are typically made of fabric, vinyl, or PVC. Fabric vertical blinds offer a softer, more elegant look and are available in various textures and colors. Vinyl and PVC vertical blinds are more durable and suitable for high-humidity areas such as kitchens and bathrooms.
  • Orientation: Unlike horizontal blinds, which have slats that run horizontally, vertical blinds have slats that run vertically from top to bottom. This vertical orientation allows for easy operation and better coverage for large windows and sliding glass doors.
  • Light Control: Vertical blinds offer excellent control over light and privacy. The slats can be tilted to allow varying degrees of light to enter the room while still providing privacy. When fully drawn, vertical blinds stack neatly to the side, allowing maximum light exposure.
  • Versatility: Vertical blinds are versatile and suitable for a wide range of window sizes and shapes, including standard windows, sliding glass doors, French doors, and bay windows. They can also be installed as room dividers or to cover large expanses of space.
  • Durability: High-quality vertical blinds are durable and long-lasting, with materials that resist fading, warping, and damage from moisture and sunlight. Regular cleaning and maintenance can help prolong the life of vertical blinds and keep them looking their best.
  • Energy Efficiency: Vertical blinds provide some level of insulation against heat loss in the winter and heat gain in the summer, helping to improve energy efficiency and reduce heating and cooling costs.
  • Customization: Vertical blinds are available in a variety of styles, sizes, and customization options to suit different preferences and décor styles. You can choose from different slat widths, colors, patterns, and textures to complement your home’s interior design.

CONTROL OPTIONS

Experience the perfect blend of beauty and functionality with our window treatments. Designed to cater to the way you live, we offer innovative control options that prioritize both safety and serenity.

SAFETY WAND

Easily adjust your blinds by drawing them open or closed, or by tilting the vanes using a wand. With the wand, you can precisely control the positioning of your blinds, allowing you to achieve the perfect balance of light and privacy in your space while ensuring the safety of your loved ones.

CHAIN AND CORD

This traditional option includes a chain for rotating the vanes open and closed, along with a cord for moving the blinds side-to-side across the windows. For added safety, the cord is securely anchored to the wall.

PANEL TRACK STACKING STYLES

CENTER OPEN

Center open track system operates by allowing the panels to stack evenly on either side of the window, creating a symmetrical appearance when the treatment is opened. This means that the panels are drawn to the center of the window opening, with an equal amount of fabric on each side, resulting in a balanced and aesthetically pleasing look.

RIGHT OR LEFT STACKING

  • Right Stacking: When the window treatment is opened, the panels stack towards the right side of the window or door opening. This means that when fully opened, the majority of the fabric is gathered on the right side.
  • Left Stacking: Conversely, when the window treatment is opened, the panels stack towards the left side of the window or door opening. This results in the majority of the fabric being gathered on the left side when the treatment is fully opened.

TOP TREATMENT

VALANCE

A valance top treatment is a decorative addition often used to enhance the appearance of the Vertical Blind System. It can be made of Fabric, Wood, Plastic or PVC and is installed at the top of the track. While a valance isn’t necessary, as the track itself has a pleasing appearance, adding one can provide a finishing touch and further elevate the aesthetic appeal of the window treatment ensemble.
